Formed in 1919, the Shasta Mosquito and Vector Control District is a special district charged with the mission: "To protect the public's health from vector-borne disease and nuisance, through a comprehensive mosquito and vector control program focused on innovation, experience and efficiency."
We serve 1,110 square miles of Shasta County including: Cottonwood, Anderson, Redding, Shasta Lake City, Palo Cedro, French Gulch, Igo, Ono, Shingletown, Castella, Millville, Viola and Bella Vista.
