Report Your Beehive
Shasta MVCD keeps a map of reported beehives within the
District Boundaries
. With this information, our staff can be aware of potential bee interactions when they are in your area. It's commonly believed that we are notified or aware of new or relocated beehives in our District boundaries, but that unfortunately is not the case. That data isn't shared with our District. We depend on you to self-report your hives. Being included in this map of beehives does not mean that your area will not be treated. This information allows our staff to know when bees are in the area and make informed decisions on mosquito control efforts.
