AGENDA

 

1.         Call to Order and Roll Call

a.            Presentation of Plaque in Recognition of Marvin Bennett for serving 20 years as a distinguished member of the Shasta Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees

 

2.            Opportunity for public comment

Persons wishing to address the Board are requested to receive recognition from the President of the Board, give their name, address and the subject they wish to discuss.

 

3.            Consider approval of the Minutes of the Regular Board of Trustees Meeting held November 20, 2007.

 

4.         a.    Approval of Accounts Payable         

            b.  Designating $23,834.61 from 00464-009600 Unreserved Undesignated     Interest to the following 00464 Accounts in the stated amounts:

         009110 District Building                                              $  3,798.01

         009113 Fixed Asset Replacement                                   $  5,433.25

         009115 Emergency Disease Control and Response    $11,289.00

         009120 Uninsured Liabilities                                  $  3,314.35

 

5.            Communications:

 

6.            Report on District Operations and Entomological Report for the month of             November 2007.

                       

7.            Report from Manager concerning disposal of surplus items.

 

8.            Report from Manager on SCI Consultant’s hand-billing for certain mosquito assessment charges.

 

9.            Consider Authorizing Employee Safety Incentive Meeting and             Luncheon.

 

10.            Authorize Payment for Vacation Accrual for District Employee

 

11.            Resolution 2007-10 authorizing the Manager authority to authorize certain District bills for payment prior to Board meetings.   

 

12.            Resolution 2007-11 establishing meal reimbursement amounts

 

13.            Authorize Manager to Deposit Retrospective Adjustment Worker’s Compensation Distribution Check in the amount of $31,158.00 into the VCJPA Member Contingency Fund and to pay the Pooled Liability Retrospective Adjustment Invoice #VCJPA-2008-1014 in the amount of $273.00 out of the VCJPA Member Contingency Fund

 

14.            Consider changing the date of the January 2008 Board meeting.

 

15.            Board/staff general discussion. Opportunity for Board members to ask questions for clarification, provide information to staff, request staff to report back on a matter, or to direct staff to place a matter on a subsequent agenda.
