Call to Order and Roll Call 2.
Opportunity for public comment Persons
wishing to address the Board are requested to receive recognition from the
President of the Board, give their name, address and the subject they wish to
discuss. 3.
Chris Glover, Watershed Project
Coordinator of the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District and Brenda
Haynes will make a presentation requesting the District’s partnership in
controlling arundo (an invasive bamboo-like weed) along Stillwater Creek 4.
Consider Authorizing the Manager to partnership in the project providing
certain support services including limited use of the District’s ARGO (8
wheeled vehicle) manned by a District employee and authorize a letter of support
to CA Department of Food & Agriculture: Integrated Pest Control Branch 5.
Consider
approval of Minutes of the Rescheduled Regular Board of Trustees Meeting held
September 18, 2006 at 2:30pm. 6. Approval
of Accounts Payable 7.

from John Albright analyzing Proposition 90 and why the California Special

on Reconciliation of Apportionments to Fiscal Year 2005-2006 Benefit Assessment 10.
Report from Manager on the District’s Revenue and Expenditure Report at
September 30, 2006. 11.
Report from the Manager on the status of Shilts Consultants, Inc.
(SCI) survey being conducted in areas outside current District Boundaries to
determine if certain areas are interested in joining the District. 12.
Consider Authorizing the Manager to sign Cooperative Agreement with the
Department of Health Services concerning the use of pesticide. 13.
Board/staff
general discussion. Opportunity for
Board members to ask questions for clarification, provide information to staff,
request staff to report back on a matter, or to direct staff to place a matter
on a subsequent agenda. 14.
