Call to Order and Roll Call 2.

Consider
approval of Minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Board of Trustees Meeting
held July 18, 2006. 4.
a.
Consider amending the District’s
2006-2007 Budget, adding $70,000 in Revenue from a State of California West Nile
virus grant and increase expenditures in the pesticide account totaling $70,000. b.
Approval of Accounts Payable 5.
Communications –
a. Shasta
County Pooled Investments – June 30, 2006. 6.
Report from Manager on District Operations for month of July 2006. 7.
Report from Manager on his attendance at the MVCAC Summer Board Meeting
in Sacramento, July 27, 2006.
8. Report
from the Manager on West Nile Virus Control in the Shasta District in 2006. 9.
Report on the District’s VCJPA Member and Property Contingency Funds at
June 30, 2006. 10.
Report from the Manager on Revenue and Expenditure Report at June 30,
2006. 11.
Report
from the Manager on Shilts Consultants, Inc. conducting a survey to determine if
certain areas are interested in joining the District in areas outside current
District Boundaries. 12.
Authorize Manager to Deposit Non-Equity Pool Distribution Check in the
amount of $9,434.00 into the VCJPA Member Contingency Fund. 13.
Consider Adopting Resolution 2006-06 Establishing the District’s
contribution towards Employee or Annuitant’s Health Insurance Premium
effective January 1, 2007.

Authorize Entering into an Agreement with the Shasta County Board of
Supervisors to provide monitoring and emergency mosquito control for West Nile
Virus outside District boundaries (Scope of Work). 15.
Consider
Nominating a Coastal/Sacramento
Valley Trustee representative to fill the vacant position on the VCJPA Board of
Directors.
16.
Consider
Casting a Ballot for a Candidate for Alternate Special District’s
Representative to LAFCO. 17.
Board/staff general discussion. Opportunity
for Board members to ask questions for clarification, provide information to
staff, request staff to report back on a matter, or to direct staff to place a
matter on a subsequent agenda. 18.
