1.         Call to Order and Roll Call

 

2.            Receive Staff Report Concerning the Mosquito, Vector and Disease Control Assessment (District 2)

 

3.            Continued Public Hearing and consideration of the levy of assessments for the proposed Mosquito Vector and Disease Control Assessment District 2The public input portion of this Public Hearing is closed. This is a continuation of the June 19, 2007 Public Hearing held to receive results of the ballots

 

4.            Receive Report from Don Reynolds, CPA concerning Tabulation of the Results of the Assessment Balloting

 

5.         Close Public Hearing

 

6.            Consider Adopting Resolution #2007-06 Approving Final Engineer’s Report. Confirming Diagram and Assessment, and Ordering the Levy of The Mosquito, Vector and Disease Control Assessment (District 2) for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

8.         Open Public Hearing to Consider the Ordering of Services and Levy of the Assessments for Fiscal Year 2007-2008 for the “Mosquito Control and Disease Prevention Assessment (District 1)” and Ordering the Levy of Assessments for the Fiscal Year 2007-08 for the “Mosquito, Vector and Disease Control Assessment (District 1).”

11.            Consider Adoption of Resolution 2007-07 Approving Final Engineer’s Report. Confirming Diagram and Assessment, and Ordering the Levy of The Mosquito, Vector and Disease Control Assessment (District 1) for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

14.            Consider approval of the Minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Board of Trustees Meeting held June 19, 2007.

17.             Accept District Operations and Entomological Reports for the month of June 2007.

 

18.            Accept Report from Manager on the District’s Draft Revenue and Expenditure Report at June 30, 2007. 

 

19.            Consider approval of Office Assistant job description. 

 

20.            Consider approval of 2007-2008 Fiscal Year Budget (Fund 00462) for District #1 in the amount of $2,219,330.

 

21.            Consider approval of 2007-2008 Fiscal Year Budget (Fund 00464).

 

22.            Consider approval of 2007-2008 Fiscal year Budget (Fund 00462) for District #2 in the amount of $105,175.

 

23.       Adopt Fund 00462 2007-2008 District Budget combining District 1 and District 2 in the amount of $2,324,505 and adopt 2007-2008 00464 Budget.

 

24.       Adopt Resolution 2007-08 to levy the District’s 1996 Mosquito and Vector Control Assessment for Fiscal year 2007-2008. The maximum amount allowed per single family resident is $7.02 but will be levied at $0.

 

25.            Declare 6 used District vehicles surplus and authorize disposal via auction at District facilities.

 

26.            Board/staff general discussion. Opportunity for Board members to ask questions for clarification, provide information to staff, request staff to report back on a matter, or to direct staff to place a matter on a subsequent agenda.                    

 

27.            Adjournment
